He was wearing leather and seemed to have dyed hair, which I never have and don't now (respectively), but all other features looked super similar. From stature, to build, to the bridge of my nose. Riding the bus he even got up and moved to stand in the front when it filled up to the point that it seemed even the elderly and disabled seating was going to be taken, possibly making for an uncomfortable situation if one such type person got on the bus at a stop. Thinking ahead like that, taking responsibility, and doing something about my thoughts is also a thing that I frequently do, especially when it is concerning humanity and ethical decisions (that seem not to matter to other people in the least).
So I did get off the bus at his stop and said something at him but obviously my approach was flawed because he kept on walking. I don't blame him, there was only one or two good responses to what I said; it perhaps was a more inside quote I recited. My major flaw was in assuming he would have been exposed to the same media that I have been. In fact, I have seen quite a bit of visual media in my life if I'm not mistaken, at least more than the average person. I very frequently start a line of inquiry with, "Have you seen (such-and-such movie)?", and too frequently the answer is no.
But now I know generally where this person lives and that he has rode a bus at the same time that I did and that makes for a high likelihood that we will see each other again. I very much want to meet up with this person and ask him a bunch of questions. If my hypothesis is correct and we think very nearly the same then there is quite a bit we could learn from each other. But will this ever happen? If it does I'm sure I'll let you know.
